David Pawson (1930–2020) was a renowned British Bible expositor, theologian, and pastor whose ministry left a significant impact on international Christian teaching. Born on February 25, 1930, in Northeast England, he dedicated his life to the systematic study and proclamation of the Christian scriptures.

After completing his education at Durham University and Wesley House, Cambridge, Pawson served as a pastor and chaplain, eventually gaining widespread recognition for his work in Christian apologetics and evangelism. He was best known for his deep commitment to Bible study and his remarkable capacity to bridge the gap between rigorous theology and everyday practical understanding, helping audiences globally to engage more meaningfully with the Bible.
