Derek Prince

Peter Derek Vaughan Prince (1915–2003) was a globally influential Bible teacher and author whose extensive ministry has reached millions in over 60 languages. Born on August 14, 1915, in Bengaluru, India, he was educated at prestigious institutions, including Eton College and King's College, Cambridge. His academic background provided a rigorous foundation for a life dedicated to the systematic teaching of the Christian faith.

Throughout his prolific career, Prince authored 51 books and produced hundreds of audio and video teachings that explored foundational Christian subjects, including prayer and fasting, spiritual warfare, the nature of God’s love, and the sanctity of marriage and family. His commitment to clear, accessible biblical instruction helped audiences around the world deepen their faith and understanding of the scriptures.

Prince's legacy is perhaps most visible today through Derek Prince Legacy Radio, a daily program that continues to broadcast his teachings in dozens of languages—from Arabic and Russian to Mandarin and Hindi—ensuring that his insights remain a vital resource for believers internationally. Having lived a life of significant service, Derek Prince passed away on September 24, 2003, in Jerusalem at the age of 88.
