Partnering in the Gospel: Missions & Ministry
Welcome to our Missions page. My heart in creating this space is to connect you with incredible ministries and faithful servants who are laboring in the harvest fields for the glory of God.
I want to be clear that I am not at this time formally affiliated with any of the organizations listed below. However, I know these groups and individuals personally. Having seen most of their work firsthand, I can confidently attest to their authenticity, their integrity, and the genuine need for the work they are doing.
In addition to these mission organizations, I am privileged to know several pastors in Tanzania who are dedicated to preaching the Gospel and shepherding their congregations with a deep hunger for God’s Word. These men are faithful stewards of the faith, and they would be incredibly encouraged by your prayers and financial support.
We invite you to explore these ministries, learn about the work they are doing, and prayerfully consider how you might partner with them. Whether through a gift or by lifting them up in prayer, your support makes a vital difference in the lives of those they serve.
Landmark World Missions
Landmark World Missions (LWM) is a holiness-focused, non-profit organization based in McGaheysville, Virginia, dedicated to furthering the work of Christ internationally, with a primary emphasis on Tanzania. Established following a providential connection between the late Pastor Keith Powers and Pastor Elihuruma Kombe, LWM has grown from humble beginnings into a robust ministry that plants churches, provides Bibles, conducts annual pastors' conferences, and operates an orphanage in Moshi. Governed by a board committed to financial transparency and faithful stewardship, the organization relies on partnerships—through donations, prayer, and labor—to continue its mission of honoring Christ, edifying the church, and expanding its reach in Tanzania.
Laura’s House
Laura’s House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid—including food, shelter, education, and financial support—to orphans, single-parent families, and individuals with disabilities in Tanzania. Founded in 2022 by Matt Derocher and named in honor of his mother, the organization grew out of mission work that began in 2011 and includes the development of an orphanage in the Singida region. Guided by core values of human dignity, respect, accountability, and impartiality, Laura’s House emphasizes an organic approach by partnering with local leaders and utilizing volunteers to ensure that donor contributions directly benefit those in need with minimal overhead.
African Holiness Missions
African Holiness Missions (AHM), established in 1999 by Bro. Curtis Teague, is a ministry dedicated to spreading the gospel and providing humanitarian relief throughout Cameroon and Ghana. Since its inception, the organization has planted numerous churches—including in remote rainforests and Muslim-saturated regions—and successfully constructed 21 worship sanctuaries. Beyond its evangelistic efforts, AHM actively improves the quality of life in rural villages by installing fresh water wells and supporting two full-time missionaries. Governed by a board of directors and partnering with local leadership, such as national overseer Rev. Franklin Yebga, the organization continues to grow its reach and impact through prayer, donations, and ongoing development projects.
